What Is DDH?
Dead Die Here is a weekly roleplaying campaign that takes place in the video game, Project Zomboid. The campaign is hosted by PoorDeadMan and the Sowing Discord community. The campaign is currently open to new participants.The premise for Season 2 is that following the events of Project Zomboid's standard lore an apocalypse cult find themselves in the aftermath of the very thing they predicted.Future seasons of the campaign will feature alternative starting locations, character guidelines, and more. Seasons are intended to last at least 30-90 in-game days. Ending a season likely occurs when all of the original survivors have died OR the remaining participants vote to end the season.
Can I Play With You?
We welcome players, but participation in Dead Die Here (DDH) comes with basic expectations. If you're new or unknown to us, meaning we have no prior exposure to your gameplay or behavior, you should not join in-character on the event day. There’s a 50% chance you’re genuinely interested, but also a 50% chance you’re here to troll. To ensure a good experience, new players should introduce themselves by posting a character concept in advance so we can properly integrate them into the story. Additionally, if someone admits to being under the influence of drugs or alcohol or has a history of trolling, they should not join in-character without first submitting a character concept. However, if you're a long-time community member we’ve gamed with before you’re welcome to join even if you haven’t posted a character concept. We trust that you’ll respect the game, engage properly, and not troll, obstruct, or spoil the experience. If we don’t know you, post a character concept first. If we do know you and trust you, come play.
