PDM streams Sunday through Thursday, starting at 7pm EST and ending at 2am EST. He does not stream on Fridays or Saturdays. This schedule changes twice a year due to daylight savings time. PDM always posts the upcoming week's exact schedule on his twitter page and discord.

Wait, You Make Music?

Yep. I’ve actually been cooking up music for a couple years behind the scenes using FL Studio and Cakewalk mostly. I’ll lay down ideas on my MIDI keyboard or sometimes straight from an old piano, then I build everything out with synths, samples, and some VSTs I vibe with—Kontakt, Arturia, a few others I’ve collected.I handle all the mixing and mastering myself and really dial in the EQ, reverb, compression. In a way making music is kinda my therapy at this point. I love sculpting the sound, making something that hits different and it’s been wild seeing people finally hearing what I’ve been quietly building all this time.

What’s Cakewalk? FL Studio?

Cakewalk’s slept on—it’s a free DAW with solid mixing tools. I like the workflow for more traditional, piano-driven stuff. FL Studio’s great for beats and experimenting. I bounce between the two depending on the vibe I am going for.

Do you play everything yourself or use loops?

Bit of both. I like laying down melodies and chords myself, but I’m not above using a great loop or sample as a texture. It’s all about blending stuff in a way that feels original.

Where do you get your samples and VSTs from?

I’ve built up a little library over time—some free packs, some stuff I grabbed from Splice or Plugin Boutique. I’m picky though, I don’t just drop in a sample raw; I tweak it, chop it, layer it till it fits.

How long does it take you to make a track?

Depends—sometimes a track just clicks and I’ve got it in a day or two. Other times I sit on it, revisit it, mix it again. Usually takes a week or so if I’m really polishing it up.

Do you sing or is it all instrumental?

Mostly instrumental, but I’ve been experimenting with layering in vocal chops or little hooks. I don’t sing much myself but I love using the voice as an instrument. Then again there is that one time I sung the national anthem at the Zephyr's game...

Did you go to school for music or are you self-taught?

Self-taught. I played piano growing up, but everything production-wise has been YouTube tutorials, trial and error, and just messing around. Learning by ear and feel.

What’s your process for mixing and mastering?

I mix as I go, but then at the end I’ll really zone in—balance everything, tweak EQ, compress, reverb, maybe throw some saturation on the master. I like a clean but warm sound.

Do you use presets or make your own sounds?

Both. I’ll start with a preset but I always tweak it—adjust filters, envelopes, effects—until it’s mine. I’m big on making it feel unique, not cookie-cutter.

What inspired you to finally release your music?

I got tired of sitting on it. Friends kept telling me to drop something, and once I started sharing clips, the feedback pushed me over the edge. It’s been awesome seeing people connect with it.

Are you planning to perform live or is this just for streaming/YouTube?

I’d love to do a live set one day, but right now I’m focused on making tracks that vibe on their own. I’m open to remixing them for a live format later tho.
